The winners of the Cleanroom Technology Awards, sponsored by Micronclean, have been revealed and four companies have taken home the industry recognition for best innovation, facility, exhibitor product technology and innovation.

JD Cooling Group celebrated winning the Best Cleanroom Facility award for its cleanroom with sanitisation mode ISO 14644-1. The jury appreciated the sheer complexity of the project to meet the classification standards of the existing room but also meet the demands of the area being sanitised while maintaining validation conditions.

Commenting on the achievement, JD Cooling Group’s business development manager Jodi Whitehead, said: “A fantastic accolade for JD Cooling. We’re very grateful for the organisers for this fantastic event!”

John Dye, JD Cooling Group’s chairman said, “This is an incredible award and we’re so pleased to have been recognised for the work we’re doing within the innovative cleanroom technology sector. Such a coveted prize recognises the complexities in designing and building cleanrooms. There’s no one-size-fits all, with each project bringing its own specific requirements and challenges. Our recent projects alone have ranged from those for pharmaceutical companies to Formula 1 teams.”

The two day Cleanroom Technology Conference, held at the NCC in Birmingham on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd May brought together leaders and innovators within the cleanroom and contamination control industry to take a look at industry trends, standards and future of design and technologies.
